FAMILY SETTING AND ECONOMICAL LIVING Hotel Gulmarg is situated right in the centre of the A.M.U. campus. The hotel is 5 minutes/2.5 kms from the railway station. For guests coming by train can easily board the cycle rickshaws available round the clock. Rickshaws are the major mode of travel in Aligarh. Hotel Gulmarg is very primely located on the main campus Road with all the major University Departments within the walking distance . Hotel has rooms that are Aircontioned and Air cooled with all the facilities like hot and cold water and dish cable connection in every room, inhouse kitchen provides the food and breakfast 24 hrs, all the rooms are intercom conneted. Hotel also has two large halls for marriage parties and meetings/conferences. To avoid inconvenience to the guests we have 24 hrs checkin and checkout facility. The hotel staff is well trained in a manner that total family culture and secured environment is maintained and for the guests staying with us it's a home away from home. The room tariffs are economical and still we provide the highest quality service, cleanliness and high quality food at very economical rates. It can be called a Home away from Home. For Lunch and dinner vegetarian and non vegetarion options are available . Thaali is also available. As we say we are the most economical as the hotel has laundry, barber sallon, shoe polisher within its complex. Convenience Stores providing daily needs are also there. Internet is made available on request. Pickup and drop facility for Railway Station is available on request at nominal charge. Catering for parties/Conferences/marriages for excellent vegetarian and non vegetarian foods available. Aligarh Muslim University Campus is full of greenery and florals and the work of the gardening department can be appreciated as one moves around the campus.
