Kusatsu Onsen Kusatsu Hotel is located a 25 minute bus ride from Naganohara Kusatsuguchi Station. Established in 1913, the hotel has retained its Taisho charm, offering guests respite from the bustle of the hot spring district while still being situated in the heart of the Kusatsu hot spring district. Various types of large communal baths and open air hot springs are available. Japanese meals prepared using seasonal ingredients are served. Guest rooms reminiscent of thetaisho era come fully equipped with modern comforts. The hotel serves multi course meals that include beef, pork, chicken and seafood dishes. The meals include a main dish and set of appetizers (small dishes). It is possible to change beef to seafood used in the main dish. However, it is not possible to change the appetizers (small dishes) that include meat to a non meat ones. The hotel does not offer vegetarian meal options.
