One of the first painterswas the young laurits tuxen who came here from1879 and the composer carl nielsen wrote some ofhis music for the opera maskerade here innymindegab.Unfortunately the inn burnt down both in 1936 and1943. The inn as it is today has been totallyrenovated from top to bottom.
