In accordance with local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying in Peru for more than 59 days) must pay an additional 18% fee. To be exempt from this additional 18% fee (IGV), guests must present a copy of their immigration card and passport. Please note that both documents are required to qualify for the exemption; guests unable to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travelers requiring a printed invoice must also pay the additional 18% fee, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru.
