The readers of Business Traveller Magazine (Germany) have voted HRS into the top spot for the fourth year in succession (Business Traveller 1/2008).
HRS was presented with the prestigious award in the 'Best Online Service for Business Travellers' and 'Best Online Service Provider' categories.
In the Travel category, HRS was named:
'Most Popular Travel Web Site of 2007'
with the highest number of votes overall.
The Website of the Year award is one of the most important accolades bestowed by internet users in Germany, and HRS have now won it two years in succession.
First place for HRS
HRS has come top of a major comparative survey of online hotel booking sites carried out by experts at Computer Bild magazine.
HRS impressed the jury with its cheap prices and the large selection of immediately bookable hotels. In the selected cities tested by Computer Bild, HRS offered twice as many 3-star hotels on average than any other provider. HRS was particularly far in front in terms of the simplicity and clarity of its booking procedure.
Great for last-minute trips: there is absolutely no problem about making bookings on the day of arrival. And the search for suitable hotels can be restricted using numerous criteria about the desired accommodation. Great idea: customers can have their booking confirmation sent directly to their mobile phone free of charge by SMS.

eco Award 2007 for HRS in the "Web Portal for Business Customers" Category
HRS has again been distinguished with the eco Award this year. The jury selected HRS as best German Internet portal in the "Web Portal for Business Customers" category. The eco Award, which is also called the "Internet Oscar" in the industry, is presented annually by the Association of German Internet Business.<
Best Exhibitor Award
As partners of trade fair organiser Messe Berlin, budding tourism managers from Cologne Business School presented their favourite stands at the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) with much sought-after Best Exhibitor Awards for the sixth time.
Given the wealth of hotels represented and the often magnificent stands of hotel chains, HRS is extremely pleased to have been honoured with 9th place in the top ten of the "hotel industry" category. The accolade is a testament to the clarity of the HRS stand and the youthful vigour of HRS.

For the seventh year in succession, the readers of the German travel magazine Business Traveller have again chosen HRS to receive the Business traveller Award. HRS came top in both categories, ahead of Expedia and Opodo, for the third year in succession (1/2007 issue).

A total of 336 Web sites in more than 20 consumer categories were nominated for the Web Site of the Year 2006 award, the most prestigious prize chosen by Internet users in Germany. Between 9 October and 1 December, 275,000 people cast more than 350,000 votes.
Buying Business Travel Gold Award 2007 as Best Hotel Booking Agency
This award, sponsored by the British Buying Business Travel magazine, was presented to HRS during an gala award ceremony at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in west London. The nominees were chosen by a jury of journalists and travel managers. The winners are chosen by the magazine's readers in 27 service categories.
Test-winner
Urlaub Perfekt magazine tested eight hotel portals. Thanks to its large range of offers, good search function and easy booking procedure, HRS was crowned "the first stop for hotel searches". One special advantage: HRS immediately pools all search results onto a single page that can then be scrolled through easily. (Urlaub Perfekt, 4/2006)
Innovation Award 2006
HRS was presented with the Innovation Award during the Business Travel Show specialist trade fair in recognition of its unique combination of reservation system, company-specific elements for travel management and full integration of the online tools for processing enquiries for special events and group travel.
The jury was impressed by HRS's special corporate application, for which it charged no licence or transaction fees, which it described as "a complete and free one-stop corporate solution".
The expert panel shortlisted the 16 applicants to six, from which the registered trade visitors of the years 2004-2006 named HRS as the first winner of this new award.
BUSINESS BRITAIN AWARD
goes to HRS
HRS is named 'Business Travel Solution of the Year 2006'. Once a year, the publishers, management, editors and readers of Business Britain magazine vote on who should receive this prestigious award in a number of business categories - in this case, business travel.
Business Britain is read by the bosses, managers and departmental heads of companies in Great Britain and Ireland (Business Britain 7/2006).
HRS comes second in the 'Best German Web Portal' category
HRS, Europe's leading online reservation portal,
was presented the award in this category by the ECO Electronic Commerce Forum, the association representing the German Internet economy.
Overall winner: HRS
In a survey of online hotel exchanges conducted by Clever Reisen magazine, HRS was named the winner in all three individual categories: Services, Booking and Price.
HRS was therefore declared the overall winner, with the grade "Very Good"

HRS named best online service solution for the hotel industry
The ECO Electronic Commerce Forum, the association representing the German Internet economy, presented HRS with its ASP Award 2005 in the "Best ASP Online Service Industry Solution" category. The decisive criteria in the jury's eyes were the practical use to customers and the market orientation. ASP stands for "application service provider", i.e. a company that makes software solutions available over the Internet. According to the jury, HRS made a major contribution towards the ongoing development of online services in Germany.
