Positiv: Sehr zentrale Lage des Hotels. Alle wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die zwei Sterne des Hotels sind wirklich (nur) zwei Sterne. Aber dennoch: It was "safe and clean". Die Leistung für den Preis (bezogen auf das lokale Preisniveau) angemessen.
Negativ: Ein schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Eine Renovierung wäre angebracht. Teilweise sind Heizungsrohrleitungen oder die der Sprinkleranlage über Putz verlegt. Die Fenster sind sehr alt und auch nicht mehr ganz dicht. Im Winter könnte es (trotz Heizung) etwas ziehen. Da an der Loop gelegen, zeitweise etwas laut. Ich habe dennoch sehr gut dort schlafen können.
Positiv: The location is excellent, the area is save (like the whole of downtown Chicago from how I experienced it) and arrival with the "sub"way from the airport is very easy. The bathroom was recently refurbished, I guess, the bed was ok, some 35 channels on TV, coffee machine, you immediately feel set into some Chicago crime movie from the overall atmosphere.
Negativ: Lousy breakfast in attached diner that lacks atmosphere (all plastic, youth hostel-like table arrangement), coffee is lousy and don't get me going about the rest.
The room's window lacks anything similar to an isolation. Don't book the room in the winter!!!! The nights expect to be loud, with a clear sensation of every rain drop.
Positiv: Habe das Hotel aufgrund der "Aschewolke" und stornierten Flug stornieren müssen, habe Geld zurücjkerhalten obwohl der Tarif - "Nicht erstattbar" war - Tolle Leistung
Negativ: Sehr laute Geräusche von außen

Positiv: Ausgezeichnete, zentrale Lage des Hotels.
Negativ: Die Fenster sind nicht die dichtesten, so dass viel allgemeiner Umgebungslärm hörbar ist.
Positiv: Sehr hohes Engagement des Personals bei unklarer Buchung
Positiv: Das direkt von der Lobby aus zu erreichende Coffeeshop, in dem man günstig früstücken kann, ist ein wenig einfach, bietet aber alles, was man morgens braucht. Das ebenfalls von der Lobby aus zu erreichende allgemein beliebte Thai-Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet. Schon deshalb lohnt ein Aufenthalt.
Negativ: Die Fenster sind dünn und halten kaum den Lärm der nahen Hochbahn ab. Hier empfehlen sich Ohrstöpsel. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, lüften muss man über die Klimaanlage.
Positiv: Nähe zur U-Bahn und Nähe zu Downtown
Negativ: Sehr kleines Badezimmer und Fenster nicht ganz dicht, daher relativ viel Lärm von der Straße bzw. Hochbahn
Positiv: Mängel wurden relativ schnell behoben
Negativ: Dusche funktionierte anfangs nicht, Zimmertür ließ sich anfangs nicht verschließen, Tür stand einmal nach Rückkehr am Abend offen (!)
Positiv: tolle Lage für Leute, die innerstädtischen Trubel mögen
