Before becoming a hotel originally this 17th century building was a pharmacy. In 1935 it had a devastating fire that almost destroyed the property and a few years later in 1940; the 4 star Hotel Alameda was opened with what was considered a very modern style at that time. Now respecting its architecture and keeping most of the detail and works of art; the hotel has the advantages expected of a modern hotel and provides a luxury service. Hotel Alameda features beautiful guestrooms with modern or colonial decoration and a wide number of convenient amenities including WiFi to make your stay even more delightful in this historical city. There is a 4 storey car park close to the hotel. Please remember to provide the hotel with the 3-digit security code on the back of the credit card otherwise the hotel will only guarantee the reservation until 20.00hrs on day of arrival. Arrivals after this time are subject to availability. Additional Information; Children age 11 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 12 and older will be considered an adult.
