Open all year long, the oldest Hotel of Corte has been entirely renovated in 2003, and equiped with all the modern confort that you can expect from a modern hotel, into a big old house (built in 1830). (TV lcd with international channels, Air conditioning, hair dryer in bathroom, free WiFi access in rooms, fan, telephone....) The HOTEL DU NORD is located in the middle of the old city of Corte (cours Paoli), next to the main activities, close to the famous citadel of Corte (15th c), the Museum of Corsica, and the lovely Valleys (Restonica and Tavignano), paradises for trekkers. We accept all credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX) Free parking 50 m The central position of Corte, just in the middle of the island, allows you to visit the hole region without moving..for example, take a look at the time needed to get to the most famous places of the island: Ile Rousse (50 minutes), Calvi (1h), Bastia (1h), Ajaccio (90 min), Porto Vecchio (2h), Bonifacio (2h20), Bavella (90 min), Haut-Asco (1h), Porto (2h30)... You won't regret your time in Corte, much cheaper (and better) than everywhere in Corsica. Non-smoking hotel, but room smokers available on request.
