You will arrive via Mannerheimintie, which is the main street leading to the centre. Shortly before the centre, you will see the Finlandia Hall on your left and the parliament building on your right. After Kiasma, a modern white building with a statue of Mannerheim on horseback on your left and Lasipalatsi, a two story white functionalist-style building on your right, you will see Forum shopping centre in front of you. Turn right at this corner to the street called Simonkatu and drive 50 metres up the hill. The main entrance to the hotel is on your right.

negativ: Zimmer nahe einer Strasse (Autos, Strassenbahn, Schneeräumung usw.). Habe im selben Hotel schon wesentlich ruhigere Zimmer erhalten.
positiv: rooms are good scandic standard - and the breakfast is very good
positiv: Angenehm. Problemlos.
negativ: Keine Beschwerden.
positiv: äußerst zentral gelegenes, trotzdem leises Hotel(zimmer), das Frühstück ist der Wahnsinn (wie in jedem Scandic Hotel), WLAN im Zimmer dauernd und mit großer Bandbreite verfügbar
positiv: * great location! Just 5 min walk from train/ bus station, very close to important sights, bars, restaurants...

negativ: Sauna hat nur wenige Stunden am Morgen und am Abend geöffnet und ist Sonntag ganz geschlossen.
negativ: Keine Minibar im Zimmer ist für ein 4* Hotel ein no-go!... Die ausstehende Lieferung neuer Kühlschränbke hilft da nur wenig weiter
positiv: besonders positiv ist, dass der Internetanschluss nicht nur im Preis inbegriffen ist, sondern auch einwandfrei funktioniert.
negativ: Bad entspricht nicht ganz 4*, aber wohl typisch für Finnland (keine richtig abgetrennte Dusche).
positiv: Sehr zentrale Lage!

negativ: keine Minibar, kein Nähzeug, für Sauna kein Bademantel und Hotel Slipper, kleine Dusche
positiv: Sehr gepflegte, saubere Zimmer mit Parekettboden
positiv: Zimmer mit Parkett - kein Tepichboden !!!
