-Property description-, abbadia san giorgio offers a luxurious oasis of, calm- tucked away behind the church of san giorgio, in the ligurian seaside town of moneglia. It dates, back to 1484 when it was built by franciscan, friars and some of the original frescoes are still, visible. It has been lovingly restored to create a, glorious harmony between history and the present, being both welcoming and romantic. The 8 bedrooms, are generously proportioned with cool marble and, terracotta floors. Clever use of opulent fabrics, and antiques combined with local craftsmanship and, modern luxurious touches has resulted in rooms, that are warm and welcoming. All are, air-conditioned and situated around the garden, cloisters. Standard are free wifi- writing, area-lcd flatscreen tv with satellite channels-, telephone- minibar- tea and coffee making, facilities- safe and beach towels. Bathrooms are, with shower- bidet- hairdryer- complimentary, toiletries and heated towel rail. Suites have, jacuzzi baths and 4-poster beds. The upper, portico- with its comfortable arm chairs and, splendid garden views is an ideal place to relax, with a glass of wine accompanied by canapes., Breakfast is abundant and memorable with various, types of cake- salamis and cheeses- fruits-, omelettes- scrambled eggs and a vast selection of, seeds- biological honeys and yogurts. Guests are, able to book massages- in suites only- and yoga, lessons in the cloisters can be booked 24 hours in, advance. The hotel has its own food and body care, products for sale. Ample free parking- open air, but secure- is 50 metres away. Additional, information minimum stay 2 nights. There is an, additional charge of 50 euros for a late check-in, between the hours of 19h30 - 23h00. Children under, 12 years are not permitted.
